I’m Alex Cooley.

I’m the daughter of a (North) American civil servant father and a Peruvian educator mother raised to meet high standards, work hard, and believe in a system where people are invited to sit at the tables that shape it.

That’s why I spend the better part of my time helping womxn rise the ranks so leadership reflect those being led.

I graduated from Harvard then became a Peabody Award winning TV writer and producer. Now I leverage 10+ years of storytelling experience on Top 10 network dramas and groundbreaking political shows (Madam Secretary & The Colbert Report) to help mid-carer womxn from Fortune 100 companies to independent consultants craft and land dream roles, $100K pay raises, and get strategically placed in front of MAJOR decision makers (including Jeff Bezos!).

Who else is in this group?

Every single womxn who joins this group has been pre-screened and personally vetted by me and I only roll with people who I believe I can help -- those people are high achieving, high integrity, smart as they come, ambitious, engaged people. They’re from all different industries which allows there to be diversity of perspective but they all share the same goals: to get clear on their vision, grow their influencing skills, networking habits and finally delegatE already so they can truly own their next level of leadership capabilities. 

How much work is there outside the sessions?

There’s homework between each meeting to set you up for each session and make sure you get the most out of it. Completing it should take about 90 min. Since we meet twice a month, that is hopefully doable! Of course, life gets in the way, so if you don’t do the work you will still get value from our sessions (just not as much IMHO 😉)

What if I miss a meeting? How do I make that up?

There will be a recording of every meeting ready to access each week. You can watch these at your leisure!

Can my company pay for this?

Quite possibly! Many companies, HR departments or orgs within orgs have education or coaching budgets. Check with your manager or HR to see if you can use that money toward this program.

Why does this take 6 months? I want results sooner. 

What we’re talking about is some serious new habits and next leveling for mid-career womxn. Y’all are BUSY! After running this program enough times, I recognized that to allow space and time for you to actually practice each new skill AND honor all the things you ALSO have on your plate, the every other week meeting was the right cadence. In terms of results -- every session has a direct output: 5 year career vision, list of strategic sponsors and mentors, talking points for each, delegation plan and MORE. 

What if I’m not ready now?

Totally get that. Timing can be everything. First thing would be to check in with us — our customer success lead, Sheri is available to answer any questions you may have.
